Mr. Grimley practices general
civil litigation with emphasis on commercial disputes – including commercial
injunctions and temporary restraining orders, debtor-creditor law, security
devices, insurance law, offshore energy and maritime litigation, construction
law, labor and employment law – including litigation of non-compete,
non-solicitation and confidentiality agreements, products liability and
personal injury – both maritime and land based accidents – including state
workers compensation and federal Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act
workers compensation cases.
Mr. Grimley received his B.A. in
history from Louisiana State University
in 1998 and is a 2001 graduate of the Paul
M. Hebert
Law Center
– Louisiana State University.
He is admitted to practice before all Louisiana
state and federal courts and is a member of the Louisiana State
and Lafayette Bar Associations. In 2008
Mr. Grimley was admitted to practice law in the State of Texas by the Supreme Court of Texas. Mr. Grimley is also a member of the American
Inns of Court of Acadiana and the Louisiana Association for Justice.
Mr. Grimley serves as faculty for
the National Business Institute where he speaks on topics concerning personal
injury litigation and ethics.
